To The Staff at Big Oak RV Park,
A BIG THANK YOU to all the staff and/or volunteers at Big Oak RV Park. After a day of stress,
packing and driving to get away from Hurricane Charley, we were tired and worried about leaving
our home, friends and other family members.
When we arrived, I was not even out of the truck when I was greeting by a nice smiling man
ready to help in any way.
He took me to the office where I quickly rented a site. I was not just directed to it, but I was guided by two helpful
people. What a wonderful way to be treated by strangers. I know all of us fellow RVers are always claiming to be like
a family, but this is the first time I was really treated like family.

Dear Ms. East,
Thank you very much for the generous support you have made to the Tallahassee Police Department
K-9 Unit, the Leon County Sheriff's Office. It is through the dedicated support of citizens such
as yourself that K-9 Officers and their partners are able to continue to provide quality service
to the community. Your support also helped provide this Department with the opportunity
to extend our local hospitality to other Law Enforcement Agencies.
This event made it possible for our K-9 Officers to share their knowledge and experience with these other agencies
knowledge and experience. It also was an excellent opportunity to show the public the value of well-trained police K-9 teams
at the large public K-9 demonstration.
It is encouraging to our Officers to know that the citizens of this community support them
in their efforts. Once again thank you for your support of this Agency and the Tallahassee Police Department K-9 Unit.

Not only is this campground immaculately clean, convenient to all the sites, and very reasonably priced, it’s also one of
the friendliest and homiest we’ve seen. A common green area surrounded by live oaks, park benches and swings, gives the
park a community, neighborly feeling to it. Every morning a chorus of birds awakens the park to a happy, sunny
Florida day. Just lovely.
